What kind of reports can NoteVault generate?

NoteVault can be set up to print notes in a variety of formats, including safety reports, Daily Construction Reports (DCRs), and others you already use or that your project may require.

How does NoteVault know where to post a note after it has been received and automatically transcribed?

Each project is assigned a unique phone number which NoteVault users store in their mobile phones. After the user calls NoteVault and dictates a message, notes are automatically transcribed and posted to the specific job file associated with the phone number.

Can I send messages to NoteVault from my computer and "Smart Phone"?

Yes. In addition to a job-specific telephone number, each project is also assigned a unique email address for sending notes, files, pictures and videos directly from a laptop or desktop computer. Adding your unique phone number and email address to the con-tact list on your mobile phone will save time and simplify usage.

How do I send pictures or videos to NoteVault?

Using the same unique email address assigned for sending messages or files from a computer, users can also email pictures and videos directly to NoteVault from their mo-bile phone or PC.

Can pictures also be sent from higher-resolution cameras not built into my mobile phone?

Yes. Photos and videos from any digital camera can be emailed or uploaded directly to NoteVault from your desktop or laptop PC.

Will NoteVault function as a "stand-alone" service?

Yes. NoteVault does not depend on other systems or software, and can be used as a stand-alone service. Data can be "cut and pasted" directly from NoteVault into any other document or software.

Can NoteVault be incorporated into our existing reporting and documentation systems?

Yes. We encourage you to allow your IT people to contact NoteVault and discuss the in-tegration requirements.

Are volume discounts available?

Discounts are offered for prepaid accounts. Please contact NoteVault Support for more information.

Is NoteVault's fee in addition to the monthly charges I pay to my cell phone provider?

Yes. You will continue to pay your regular monthly mobile phone charges directly to your provider. Most providers, however, offer plans which include free long-distance service and/or unlimited airtime.

What type of technical support does NoteVault offer?

Three levels of technical support are included in NoteVault's fee:
1. Tier 1 – User phone support (typically for newer users)
2. Tier 2 – Trouble shooting
3. Tier 3 – Full 24/7 Data Center technical support

Can NoteVault interpret accents, and will it recognize uncommon names of people, places or products?

NoteVault's extensive library of words, phrases, names and accents provides a high level of accuracy in transcribing voice messages into written notes. Users can also submit unique words or terms, such as the names of subcontractors or special job components, which will then be added to NoteVault's ever-expanding library. In the event an occa-sional word or phrase is not recognized by NoteVault, the note can be reviewed and edited for corrections prior to its being approved and posted to the job file.

Is a notice or reminder sent if a scheduled report is not provided on time?

NoteVault can be set to automatically send reminders and notifications. A reminder is sent to the responsible party if a regularly scheduled report is not received by a specified time or date.
